Since coming on here I've heard about so much mad shit that goes on in Brixton that never get's reported in any way. Where I'm from, if a woman got punched in the face in Tesco for nudging a kid it'd be all over the papers for a week.

So you're saying, or at least you appear to be saying, that "to rest" is always a transitive verb? That's clearly not the case.

"What are you doing?"
"I'm resting".

What is wrong with that example?
