Teeny Weeny Miniscule Potter Spolier Anyone? [CONTAINS ACTUAL SPOILERS]

REAL SPOILERS ALERT. AND MEAN IT, i JUST FINISHED THE BOOK. TO SEE THEM, HOVER/CUT& PASTE

Ron dies. WRONG
Lupin dies. RIGHT
Percy dies (this death occurs before the wedding, inevitably throwing events into chaos). WRONG
Voldemort dies. RIGHT
Snape dies. RIGHT
Details arent needed. Just say BELLATRIX KILLS RON! WRONG

Snapes loyalty? I found this to be the saddest part of the book. As many people guessed, all was not what it seemed with Dumbledore, and the two did indeed have a plan that would eventually result in Snape killing him. But, Snape was only in on things for personal gain, WRONG

and when Voldemort learns of this, he is obviously furious with Snape.

WRONG

Snape tries to make up for things by luring Harry to him,

WRONG
but Harry manages to escape,

and Voldemort kills Snape before the final conflict.RIGHT

I dont know what all these rumours are about Voldemort kidnapping Ron, its a complete lie.

YEP

Ron is killed by Bellatrix Lestrange

WRONG
in The Battle of Hogwarts,

but Neville manages to finish off Bellatrix after Ron weakens her before his death. WRONG

Harry Potter is not a horcrux.

WRONG ( KIND OF)

As Ive already stated, Voldemort kills Snape. RIGHT

Voldemort is killed in the Department Of Mysteries.

WRONG He baits Harry Potter about his parents, Sirius, Dumbledore and Ron. which turns out to be the worst thing Voldemort could have done.
NOT REALLY

As Voldemort steps out into the circular bit with many doors,

BALLS Harry Potter opens the locked door, and Voldemort is destroyed by the blinding light, which heals Harry Potter, who seems close to death (he does not die). BALLS

The cover art shows Voldemort + Harry Potter at the Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter is attempting to summon Voldemorts Horcrux, as Voldemort is doing his best to keep the enchantment in place.

No-one loses a body part, no idea where that came from?

EH??

Also Harry Potter does not get drunk whoever said that.HE DOES HAVE A FEW FIREWHISKEYS

Harry Potter does not lose his powers.
WRONG, KIND OF

Whats the deal with the dragon on the US deluxe cover?

USED BY HP TO ESCAPE GRINGOTTS WITH RON & HERMIONE
The trio fly on it to get to the Deathly Hallows. BALLS Only Harry Potter and Voldemort can fight on the Deathly Hallows, but this is not their final encounter. BALLS THIS SPOILER WRITER HAS NO IDEA WHAT THE HALLOWS ARE. tHEY AR A WAND, A CLOAK AND A RING
Whats happening on the UK kids cover?
Gringotts. The trio are searching for the locket (it isnt there) but they get vital information on Ravenclaws book here. NOT IN GRINGOTTS THEY DON'T

Hows the epilogue done?
I didnt like it. It was in the form of a newspaper article, a sort of Where Are They Now? thing, 20 years on from the final showdown.

You said Ron dies HE DOESN'T so what happens to Hermy at the end?

RON AND HERMIONE MARRY AND HAVE KIDS
As said, her love life isnt specified. But she becomes a Healer at St. Mungos.
BALLS
Whats Luna/Hagrid/Weasley twins/Nevilles fate? FRED DIES EVERYONE ELSE SURVIVES, NEVILLE = PROF HERBOLOGY AT HOGWARTS
Becomes editor of Quibbler (her dad passes it on to her)/Remains at Hogwarts to this day/Weasleys Wizard Wheezes becomes multinational/Herbology teacher at Hogwarts after Sprouts death (old age she isnt killed)

What happens to Voldys body in the end? DUNNO, WHO CARES
Completely obliterated by the love from locked room.

What are the horcruxes? RING, NAGENI SNAKE, LOCKET, DIADEM, DIARY, CUP, POTTER

How does Harry Potter find and destroy them? DUMBLEDORE RING, FANG, DIARY, REST DURING BOOK & WILLING SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF IS THE FINAL ONE

Nagini/Locket/Cup/Ravenclaws Book. Symbol on UK spine is a device that enables Harry Potter to locate soul fragments if you will, Harry Potter can destroy them a lot more easily than Dumbledore.

Whats the deal with the mirror? SHOWS HEART'S DESIRE

How does RAB and Kreacher come into the story?RAB HAD LOCKET & KREACER WORKS OUT OK IN THE END
Sirius has left an almost voicemail message on the mirror, to advise him on destroying the horcrux.

NOPE, BUT AS HE DIES HE LETS HARRY TAKE HIS FINAL MEMORIES TO RUN THROUGH THE PENSIEVE Kreacher has to tell the trio (on Harrys orders) about the history of the symbol and where to find it.NOPE

Whats the lies of Dumbledore chapter about? DUMBLEDORE FOR A WHILE WAS TEMPTED BY POWER, NOT LOVE
Neon was right about this, this is to do with the plan with Snape. I dont know if he got lucky because the Grindelwald thing isnt even close.

What happens to all the teachers? MANY SURVIVE Whos new headmaster etc?
McGonagall is new headmistress. DURING SEIGE OF HOGWARTS

Whats Harrys fate in the end? MARRIES GINNY

Job etc? NO JOB GIVEN
Becomes an almost freelance Auror but refuses to work for the MoM NOPE, ALL IS RECONCILED & KINGSLEY SHACKLEBOLT = NEW MINISTER OF MAGIC

Which is more childish, reading a book about wizards and magic or taking pleasure at the thought of spoiling someone's fun?

I couldn't access that page of spoilers, but if they are what badger kitten says they are, then I can confim they're wrong.

Darn....! Will actually have to read the book to see what going to happen now...

lol @ Badger Kittens spoilers... whoever wrote them was a moron! Thankfully the spoilers that occured on these boards were innacurate. I did enjoy this Potter, I certainly think it was better written. Flagged in the middle and went a bit off at the end. But it was OK.

I'm shocked, frankly. I don't think I've ever seen quite such ugly snobbery on u75 as I have over this book.

No-one gives a fuck if you personally don't like it, but those who've been deliberately spoiling it for other people ... well, what gives you the right to do that? It's arrogance of the worst sort IMO. Get a fucking life.

Um... I haven't seen anyone post up any spoilers in body of message that weren't hidden. The spoilers I have seen have been links to other pages...

Personally, I'm actually going to read it to see what happens as the spoilers have piqued my interest... :D

That's because they were edited out.

I wasn't really referring to this thread, which had a spoilers warning thingy all along: it was more comments (and taglines) elsewhere, and spoilers off the boards...

The comments and taglines thing isn't very nice, but hopefully people can control themselves on clicking on links...

On Saturday there was a bloke working on a market stall in Stratford who was shouting out all the main events of the book loudly enough that anyone could hear them. I'd heard him from the entrance to Stratford Shopping Centre as I arrived. His spoilers were all true - turned out he'd flicked through the book at the WH Smith's opposite in a slow period on the stall.

I happened to be buying something from his stall, and asked him why he thought it was OK to spoil others' enjoyment of a book. His Mother, who was also buying something, was similarly annoyed; we both agreed that she should find out the endings off all the films or books he liked and tell him them.

When I left, there must have been ten people arguing with the wanker. :D

Presumably any books or films he liked he will have read or seen, and therefore telling him the ending wouldn't really be too much of a revelation

Not if you either see it first or find out the ending from someone else who has. For example, sequels to films he liked the first one of, films he's really looking forward to, TV shows he loves that have episodes that have already been broadcast in the US, that sort of thing.

Not that I'll be the one to spoil those things for him - bit too much effort to go to for a stranger on a market stall. :D
