You really cant climb on the patrotic band wagon and have anyone take you seriously.

It's a bit like George Bush as a draft dodger, family links to the Bin Laden's etc. All stuff that Michael Moore thought he could roll up into an unstoppable case to unseat him as President. Bush had all kinds of political and economic momentum to ensure that would never happen, whereas Nugent seems to be able over ride some uncomfortable truths with his weird personality and links to right wing networks. Without getting all jazzz on this, it's a sad world when someone's jolting hypocrisy can be not so much air brushed as talked over.
