I met Ted Grant on a number of occasions, mostly on the bus home. A decent man who cared passionately for international working class solidarity.

All and all a decent bloke IMHO.

Monty Johnstone has some credentials, that set him apart from his fellow CP authors on the subject, to write on Trotskyism; In his extreme youth he was a Trotskyist, a trauma which – if it did not last long – must have left lasting scars.

It can't have lasted long ,since he became editor of the Young Communist League paper Challenge - though I expect the age limit on "Young" communists in those days was probably something like 35.
