I've just started drinking proper tea in a pot, thanks to Urban75 and a coleague bringing a teapot into work - not sure if I'll go back to bags

I too prefer tea and have milk no sugar.

Always make it in a pot so I can have extra big mugs.

I cannot survive without at least 4 pints a day.

The best tea is the super-concentrate you get in greasy spoons that comes out of a long metal tap and has to be diluted with hot water.

Or tea from a great big ern in a canteen.

If you're making one: very strong (borderline stewed), not too much milk. If you're making tea for other people too and it involves sugar, please do NOT stir the sugar in and then fish out the tea bags with the same spoon. I CAN TELL WHEN THIS HAS BEEN DONE AND IT RUINS MY TEA.

I refuse to vote in that silly poll coz theres no option for:-

Strong Tea with Skimmed Milk (no minging milks ta) with no sugar !

Not too much to ask is it - I dont bother having tea anywhere but my home or my sisters and mums coz everywhere else uses minging milk.

Yeah and dont use a sugary spoon in it either ta!

yorkshire tea teabag (assuming absence of decent quality loose leaf and necessary kitchen devices.

boiling water on top. dash of milk and half a teaspoon of brown sugar.

leave to stew for a while, a couple of minutes is ideal you want lots of tea flavour in there.

drink. in times of bitter emergency, such as breakfast, leave teabag in tea and add a splash of cold water to facilitate rapid ingestion of tannin.

Strong tea with milk. Coffee doesn't get a look in and I resent the implication that I secretly prefer it! Tea drinkers are nicer people, better looking than coffee drinkers and bigger in all the places that count - FACT!
