That is a very different form of process compared to the one used for Quorn & the post-fermentation processes are quite different again.

Or is it just because I've been served up too many plates of slop made out of musty rice and unflavoured veg that I've got prejudiced against Vegan food.

Although I must admit some of the reciepes on this thread look nice.

Although I'm not a vegan, I think that if vegan food was better presented and done and more available then more people may eat it.

I agree. 'tis a shame really. I am not vegan or veggie but went to work with a completely vegan lunch that I cooked earlier; pasta and griddled 'mediterranean vegetables' (courgette, aubergine, red pepper, red onions), with fresh basil, olive oil and balsamic vinegar... my workmates really wanted some, even though they're all omnivores who take the piss out of vegetarians and vegans

If you use oil rather than ghee then most veggie curries are vegan... how can you say that a curry is not tasty?
