Talk TV: a thread so you never have to watch it

I want to know why they are broadcasting three hour late nite shows with "Howard Hughes" - who apparently is the Murdoch corporate expert on UFOs.
What's reality indeed!

In my ad break channel-hopping I flicked onto to see them cutting off a caller for suggesting Diana Spencer was a "media whore", without offering a counter argument.

Massive drama as something broke on the set and Truss locked shocked before it cut away. Seemed like someone in the studio got injured?

TalkTV not intelligent enough to have a standby presenter. but I hope the presenter is ok.

Apparently Kate McCann is fine, it was due to be co-hosted by the Sun's political editor Harry Cole, as it was a joint TalkTV/Sun debate, but he pulled out at short notice having tested positive for covid, otherwise they could have continued.

The other problem, it was from Morgan's West London studio, not sure if he's back from Ukraine yet, whereas the rest of TalkTV's presenters are based at the News Centre near London Bridge.

Tice's Sunday Sermon this morning is bombastic in the pub type stuff.
Thames Water is down the pan because it is owned by "The Australians" who might easily if THEY want to sell it to "The Chinese"
Organ music to boot. What would Father Brown say? "Who stole the sherry?" probably

Looks to me like Jeremy Kyle may be taking over Talk TV.
Piers Morgan at large - presented by Jeremy Kyle
Julia Hartley-Brewer This Morning - presented by Jeremy Kyle.

I thought he was supposed to be banned owing to his multiple suicide-inducing reality TV show on ITV?
Or he has been Banned by ITV for bringing shame on channel 3 - but channel 237½ is OK?

What is going on? Shouldn't we be told? Even Covid deniers have the right to THE TRUTH!

From Order-order -

TalkTV kicked off its big relaunch last night, with Tom Newton Dunn put out to pasture in the 10pm slot and Jeremy Kyle drafted in as Piers Morgan’s warm-up man. Someone’s got to do it, after all. How’d it go? Well…

GB News
continues to pummel them in every slot. At 7pm, Farage took in 87,300 viewers to Kyle’s 22,200. Mark Steyn scored 65,600 viewers compared to Piers Morgan’s 27,800. And finally at 9pm Dan Wootton soared to 96,100, against Tom Newton Dunn’s groundbreaking new show, First Edition which debuted to just 3,900 – clearly viewers keen to witness television history. GB News also beat Sky News over primetime. Things can only get better. Or, alternatively, not…

I feel a bit sorry for Tom Newton Dunn, he presents a decent and proper news programme, which is factual and fairly well balanced, totally different from the rest of the output.

However he's been put in impossible slots, originally at 7pm, when BBC 1 has just finished their early evening hour of news, ITV's national news hour is still running until 7.30pm, C4-News starts at 7pm, and there's also Sky News & the BBC News channel, there was no space for another news show, and, of course, the loons are watching Farage on GBN. Now he's on at 10pm up against the BBC, ITV & Sky all doing their own version of the 'News at Ten', so again there's no space for his show, and the loons are watching Wootton on GBN.

Interesting that Kyle’s first evening show was just 5,600 less viewers than the ego known as Morgan, that must hurt. :D

Out of interest, which village / town are they getting those viewing figures from?

That can't be the total viewers from a county can it?
