ive fought in semi-contact competitions years back, and its farcical, its just like tag. as long as you get a hit in first, it doesnt matter if your opponent knocks you out with a punch JUST after youve scored your point on them.
its not real fighting.

It's not supposed to be proper fighting. It is supposed to be like a game of tag. It's a sport. With points and that.

Ah no. It's because they want to make sure the bronze is awarded fairly. If you went out in the quarter finals to either of the finalists, you might still be better than those who went out in the semis. So they decide the bronze with a repercharge for the final 6.
