Sziget Festival, Budapest, 9-16 August ??

Flights now booked and we are on the same ones. However, we are thinking of getting upgraded as we've got stacks of frequent flyer points. ;)

It'll keep us away from you riff-raff. :p

Bloody snob :(

But I reckon me and onemonkey could get upgraded too if we smile sweetly and wear our best clothes!

We are quite the charmers you know ;)

Didnt realise that the Prodigy were playing!
So are Living Colour and Sick of it All. Two of the best live bands I've ever seen for very different reasons. :)

She's arranged cover but the person who is covering has to clear it with their boss...
Was looking a bit iffy for a while with me possibly having to fly back a few days earlier but that's all irrelevant bollox now. :D

Bring. It. On.

Well, that's ruined Glastonbury for me. :(

Sziget 2006 has been the best festival I've ever attended.

I'll type up a decent review once I get back to London. I love Budapest. :D:D

Yep - fly back tonight and I'm home for a few days and then off to New York.

I'm an international jetsetter. :D

Sziget rocks!

Well that was some festival! It was extremely well organized, cheap, friendly & there was something there for everyone... dare I say it, but quite simply it put glasto to shame. I'll leave the full write up to ldr as I'm feeling a bit fuzzy-headed from this cold (...& lazy :o) but if anyone's contemplating on going in the future, then go! You won't be disappointed!! :D From dance to metal/hard rock, from opera/theatre/traditional Hungarian folk dancing to gypsy punk... it was all good. (Apart from Radiohead... no doubt the biggest bore of the festival... )

Besides Budapest is such a beautiful city... it's worth just going to visit the city alone. :)
