yes wright phillps goals were both outstanding. Now all he has to do is perform like that for an entire season and he will be allowed to be mentioned in the same brathe as ronaldo at the moment.
Intrestingly a certain john terry was saying how great ronaldo was the other day. didn't her metion of wright phillps in that one.
oh and while we are it he wasn't bad last seaosn either! 12 goals in 43 games(one every 3.5 games) with 7 assists. Not bad for a 21 year old. Espeiclly if you compare it to what the likes of duff, robben, n'zogbia, dyer, fabregas have done in the last couple of years.
Everyone is just bitter beacuse they think its his fault we lost in the world cup. Its not its ours, we were shit and had no strikers. Get over it move on, everyone is diving and being a cunt these days but no ones on drogbas case this year and no ones on gerrads case this year and hes benn really bad. Either complain about everyone diving or just allows it and acknolege while he maybe a diving bastard he is by far the best player in this league at the moment.

Ronaldo is currently the most consistently exciting attacking player in the world. But these days football is the here and now. As SWP had a great game on Tuesday and Ronaldo's was less noteable on Monday it stands to reason that SWP is now better than Ronaldo, no?

Henry should be about the best in the world but after this season moves down the pecking order. Untill he prooves hes still got it anyway. My old best in the world was zidane who obviously retired now so it can't be him.
I'm sorry but messi is not as good as ronaldo. 9 games this season with only a couple of goals and last season he played a grand toal of 25 games with 9 goals. season before that 15 games 8 goals. So the best player in the world has only ever played 50 first team games. Thats not even a full seaosn in three years. The best players in the word play nearly every game. He isn't doing that yet, hes not the best. Hes the best prospect in the world though as he is a mere 19.

Henry has missed close to half a season so he's dropped down the pecking order. Fair enough. But the accolade of best player in the world has to encompass at least a 3 year period (maybe more), not the last 7 months. Henry and Ronaldinho have been better than Ronaldo in the last 3 years. Ronaldo hit top form early this season and has sustained it through the year. If he does it again next season, which he probably will, then we can start hailing the new king.
I didn't at any point suggest Messi was the best player in the world. Said he was as good as Ronaldo. Obviously he's not playing at the same level as him at the moment as he is coming back from a long lay off. His goal was pretty impressive against Getafe though. Like you say, he's 19 so in 2 years he might fulfil his potential.

Fine i will allow that then. Buts its very very danm close between ronhildinho and ronaldo and on form its ronaldo. Henry in a bit of a distant third unless someone mentions kaka in which cas ei have no problem with him being 4th but thats only beacuse i hate him in red a lot more then i like him in the blue of france.
