    !Stats question! kabbes

If you are in control of the sweepstake draw, i.e. you can choose when you make your pick, is there a strategy to maximise your chances of getting a good team?

I've set up a wooden spoon award on ours - just to give the poor souls who pulled out crap a chance of their money back and a pint.

Saudi Arabia looking good for it so far. Which is good as my Project Lead picked them out.

Not if the draw is random and you are committed. Yes if you can wait and decide to enter depending on who has already been picked — in this case until either the odds have improved or you judge it not worth taking part
