Watch out for the ELL closing in December as its about to be switched into the new Dalston - Crystal Palace / West Croydon overground extension. Buses for about 2 years i think.

I'm dreading that, not cos the tube will be closing but because they are building the track right over the field that is next to my estate ,the field is the best thing about living on this estate, and it provides a handy shortcut to walk to Surrey Quays, we've been told it's all going to closed off to us soon -s' going to be terrible.

I'm guessing it was more because there was less sense calling it ' - Docks' once they'd all been filled in, and perhaps because they wanted to rebrand it if the docks were associated with a dead industry and dereliction.

As for Canary Wharf, above ground, constant blustering wind, below a truly termite land of tunnels, swarming bodiess and endless fucking chain stores

The entire area was designed with the flair normally reserved for caravan parks in Southend

Hi all,
Hoping you could give me some advice/pointers/tips.
I recently saw a 1 bed flat in surrey quays-concorde way. the flat was really nice, however the walk to it was not impressive at all.
I'm a single woman living on my own and would be great og et your views on how is it to live in this area. Safety is my Priority.
Is this are safe. whats around here. Is is a nice area to live in?
Any hits and pointers from anyone would really be helpful
