Right at the end there was an out take. It did look like he'd hurt himself falling off the bottom step as he didn't leap straight up saying 'I'm fine!'

The cricketers were phwoar too.

I didn't fancy the bollock and oyster pie much on the Elizabethan episode.

I think what's interesting about the programme is that you start to see food and eating as a very varied and faddy thing historically. And makes me wonder to what level even the most bland and ordinary aspects of our current diets are fads.

Yes, but reading this thread I don't think many of us are paying any attention to the food

Almost got into a fight with her a few months back

She called me a Nazi cos I backed up a friend who was only doing her job and asking her to move from somewhere where she was causing a danger to others.

She just kept on hurling ridiculous insults at me and I just kept on laughing and telling her that "you're really funny you are"

She stomped off in a "don't you know who I am?!" kind of rage in the end.

Most people have the potential to be rude / arrogant if you catch them on an off day no?

I was just amused and unsurprised that other people here don't like her.

I once got chatted up in the hat department of Harvey Nicks by Patricia Cornwell, although I didn't know who she was at the time. She was a great laugh when it came to trying on hats but I can't say I got to know her well as my friend turned up in the middle or our hat related flirtation and I left.

Maybe most lesbians are nice when it comes to trying on hats?
