It was. It's the first time that I've sat up and watched it (one of the benefits of retirement is not having time constraints), and it was well worth watching.

I watched it this afternoon. I was about to give up thinking that the 49ers had it in the bag but decided to stick with it for the last quarter. I'm glad I did. It was a great finish, the 49ers looked utterly crushed. First superbowl win for the Chiefs in 50 years, and 28 for the coach. (Also his first)

he went with the eagles and lost but appears to be a reasonably well-adjusted and even funny guy and not an obsessive wierdo as many football head coaches are, so all right-thinking americans were pulling hard for him.
