Why don't you like her?

I really don't understand where the venom for her comes from. She's been championing universal healthcare since long before it was popular. She's been great for New York (State, that is).

I haven't heard Obama take a stance on a single issue. He talks about change, but has failed to mention how he's going to effect it.

He abstained from voting in a majority of his elections as a state legislator in Illinois, which means we've no idea how he really feels.

I would vote Hilary as well, if I were A) US and B) somebody who votes.

I'm leary of voting for her for the simple reason that she has so much baggage (no all of her own making) that even if she was elected she wouldn't be able to do anything. It would be four more years of stalemate.

More of the same - the election will be won by McCain. It doesn't really matter whether Obama or Clinton get the Democrat nomination. In my opinion the thing that will swing the vote as a whole, is whoever is the candidate with the strongest line on 'the war against terror'.

Oh so he's the David Cameron of the US. A man without policies...just another prick with more ambition than balls.

Clinton's won new york.

she'll also win cali. 'Experience Counts'. WTF?! What - the experience of letting your husband lie to the nation about 'not having sexual relations with that woman'?

America sucks (excuse the pun).. If they elect clinton then i give up.

This is so immensely frustrating.... im reminded of going to bed the night when kerry was tipped to beat bush, and having a rude awakening the next morning.

im hopin the reverse will be true tomorro morning. but i doubt it. americans are idiots. theyre fucking idiots. they deserve all they get after this... if they lose this opportunity to elect someone with as much integrity as obama... well.... fuck... they're fucking idiots. four more years of shite here we come.

You know the presidential election isn't happening today? Even the candidates for the election probably won't be chosen today. I expect a lot of people voting for Clinton are doing so because they think she's got a better chance of beating McCain than Obama does.

Yeah we know. ;)

It's still interesting though. Well, for me, this time it is.

I stayed awake just long enough to be disappointed in real time. :(

He's more iiberal than her. I've always liked him. I trust him - I dont trust the ole crocodile teared hill tho. He might be old, but he's generally voted for things i agree with.

Ahh ok. Have to admit I know nothing about him, just had him labelled as Republican=Bad (my very simplistic analysis ;) ).

Any guess how he'd be (vs. Clinton) on foreign policy?

He voted in favour of the war in iraq... but....

He's seen as a traitor by most republicans for expressing regret since. He's travelled the world, unlike the incumbent president.... hes well read, cultured, intelligent, and despite being in politics for as long as he has, unsmeared.

he's just too old.

i did read his book a while back in the US and liked him. he seemed 'normal' :D which is rare in politics. Have a read of some of his shit. Worth it.

Interesting. Sounds alot more enlightened than Bush. The ability to admit "I was wrong" is a rare trait in politicians... in all of us in fact.

who's winning. I'm currently watching a programme about lions and can't be fucked to turn over to the boring news channel.

Oh my shitting Christ... I've just heard Romney speak. *ANYTHING* but this guy. Going on about immigration, strengthening the military, oil producing countries... holy fuck.

McCain I think is No.1 for the Republicans. Democrats is prob Clinton but hard to tell because of their proportional representation (i.e. a "state win" doesn't give the actual picture).

the programme on lions has now finished.

I might turn over now.
