We had to get a coach on the way back for some weird reason, took hours to get to Naples and missed our connection to Rome.

We had to get a coach on the way back up too, took fucking ages but not any longer than the train was timetabled to take, somehow.

We flew to Brindisi last year & stayed overnight there & then trained it over to Metaponto the next day. Might do Bari this year cos I want to go to Matmata. But the best restaurant I have ever been to in my life was in Brindisi so I expect I'll go back there again.

Then back to Rome for a couple of days before flying back to England just in time for our first World Cup game.

I am well up for this year, but please try to avoid the lst weekend in June / first weekend in July cos I want to go to this- http://www.fusion-festival.de/

I'm going to have to disagree with that!!!! They were painfully slow, but did follow the times on the timetable so can't really grumble I suppose!!
 
You were too excited clearly :p I took an overnighter from Rome but tbh this time I think I'll stay local and look into car hire. If I'm not going for long I just want to get there quick like.

so I've been told... though I was told this last year too but the fuckers hired a car too small for us all to fit in so I ended up staying home being grumpy instead:rolleyes:

but yes I reckon I shall be there:cool:

I'm so glad I made it in the end last year after the greenfair/acid scramble brain/ketawirral fiasco! Literally the best ten days of my life :cool:
 
As tantalizing as it is. I think we should all just wait 'till they're ready to announce they have good reasons for the cloak and dagger stuff. ;)
 
Highly doubt I can make it this year.. have only 4 days holiday for the rest of 2007 and have to fit a honeymoon in there somewhere which is :D but :( about this.
