www.miniclip.com is a good place for lots of small, free online games, they have lots of fun arcade games and things like that which are a good way to while the hours away. ditto fetchfido (http://www.fetchfido.co.uk/games/menu/games_menu.htm ), theres loads of really very good free sites. orisinal ( www.orisinal.com ) has some beautiful little games. have a look around, theres plenty to keep you occupied online.
