Sugababes - Keisha replaced

keishasig.jpg

waahh that pic's freaky :D

Bit silly that they're still The Sugarbabes when none of the original members are left :(

is that picture just various haircuts she has had put together or have they morphed old members faces into kiesha.

If the 2nd its ridiculously well done.

(((dave))) :D

So now all three interesting and talented members have left/been given the boot. At least they're no longer a good band with a shit name.

This might be wholly unfair, but they always struck me, like many groups, to be the 'face'/'voices' for a team of backroom producers? If that's the case, then there's no reason why line-up change after line-up change should change the 'group' continuing to be the 'Sugababes'?

I mean, they're career was nosediving after their initial success until Island (who they'd just signed to), picked up Richard X's booty/mash-up of Freak Like Me/Are Friends Electric and had it re-recorded for them.

Didn't Keisha co-write some of their songs? I reckon she could've been a right bitch (as Mutya) but with her gone, the last one of the original (and the last one with a noticeable voice) I reckon they'll be finished soon. It really would be funny though if the original 3 - Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan reformed.

Let's pay them to do it...just for the lolz...that'll learn them...them, meaning the other ones...not the real ones who are called the Sugarbabes now like.

It's not somthing you can teach.

It's something you learn.

:(

But it's not facial features. It's more a combination of posture, movement and facial expression. Paried with false smiles and evil looks obviously.

They are the ultimate post modern pop group. Or the Fall.

I find it hilaire that they keep shedding members like shark's teeth.

i just heard the end of their interview on Scott Mills. He asked them who told Keisha she was out of the band and they said that wasn't what happened. Heidi and Amelle went to their management and said they wanted out because they couldn't carry on working as they were (they didn't mention Keisha) and it was the management that offered them the chance to carry on with a new member.

Also he mentioned that people were saying they can't be the sugababes anymore and Heidi made a good point. When she joined the band they'd had one hit single and been dropped by their record company. She was brought in and was involved in writing the new album etc etc and she was in the band when they signed to Island. So whilst it's a bit mad that they are still the Sugababes Heidi was as much a part of the bands success as the other 2.

OTM. I always had Keisha down as the Mark E. Smith of pop music, dispensing with bandmates when she saw fit. Guess this news blows that view apart.

Maybe the Mark is one of the others. Mark E Smith wasn't one of the original Fall members.
