Seeing as the resistance contains a preponderance of anti-working class bourgeois nationalists and religious loons, or in Iraq a fair sprinkling of former Ba'athist state goons and whatever, I'd say many if not most have long detached themselves from "the struggle" carried out by either active revolutionaries worldwide or student dilettantes in the UK.
I do take Fed's point about merely lumping all the groups fighting in Afghanistan together as the Taliban as being overly crude, but by the same token some are just the old regional warlords and drug barons who aren't much better.
Same with the sole focus on Israel as the rogue state par excellence of imperialism - it's not (bunch of cunts though successive regimes have undoubtedly been), either in numbers killed, length of oppression of subject peoples or whatever. If this is your anti-imperialism and internationalism, it seems like it's entirely guided by some a priori principles dreamed up the usual gaggle of middle class sociology lecturers who run your parties rather than being based on any coherent analysis or class position.
