Stuntism vs. direct action

The Iraqi working class have the power to stop the Iraq war? What exactly can they do to stop it? What can they do about US troops there? What can they do about insurgents and sectarian death squads?

So all crime is political?

Bollocks.
Of course all crime is political. The very fact that an action is a crime makes the crime an expression of unlegitimised power, ergo political.

Conversely any non-illegal action is an expression of legitimised power, ergo political, leaving us with the 'reductio ad absurdum' of every single action of any kind being "political".

Get to fuck, this is utter bollocks.

For an action to be political it has to have and/or communicate some kind of political intention. People going around farting, shoplifting or having drunken brawls are not typically making political statements. Some may be but they are the exception.
