StumbleWorthy is here!

StumbleWorthy will be holding it's first ever Sunday Social at The Duke of Sutherland Pub in Lorrimore Road, Kennington SE17 on Sunday 27th May.

Whether your just coming back in from Saturday night, or need a suitable warm up for going out on the bank holiday Sunday night, we hope you'll come along for what promises to be something a bit different....

StumbleWorthy's music policy is very, very eclectic. You won't hear club bangers, or be deafened by a huge rig. We'll be playing everything from dub to reggae through hip-hop and beats, obscure electronica, ambient, the wierd and the wonderful. We've secured a top-class opening line-up from London's leading party organisers, and our very own Urban - W00t!

Line-up in no particular order....

So why not come on down? -bring your mates, drink some beer. The lovely West Indian landlady is laying on some wicked Caribbean food, and hopefully there'll be sun so we can use the outdoor seating too!!

It's free to enter, beer and food is not! We're kicking off at Midday, and will be entertaining those present until 10pm-ish.. and if all that wasn't enough it is a bank holiday so you don't even have to get up the morning after!!

See you there, streetmap link below...

Nearest tube is Kennington, although Oval is just across the Park, and the Walworth Road is very close too for those on buses...

Also check out the StumbleWorthy Site for music chat, photo galleries, mixes and news of what we're up to.....

Peace - StumbleWorthy ;)

Nice one Skim, it'll be good to actually talk to you - and hear you as opposed to shouting over general squat party noise!!

We are dead excited about this, and hope to see lots of urbanites and thier friends drop in to see what's going on..

^^^^^

this is the first of many stumbles into a musical netherworld, I hope you'll be able to make a future date...

Aye, this will be a departure from HouseBreakin'

I've been and busted my wallet on tunes recently and sorely need a public excuse to play them :)

That weekend

Tis a shame, I'll still be in Kent ..

This pub is very local to my erm, local ...

If you do other similar nights in the future though ..... :)

I may come down with Dub - will there be veggie food too?

I'm going to check for you after work. I'm sure it won't be a problem!

Really good to see so much interest on the boards!!

I might come along to this too...wonky beats and the 'ip op sounds pretty ace to me and no work on monday.

Woo!

I'll be playing a fair bit of hip-hop influenced stuff from 7.30. We are encouraging all the dj's to play stuff they usually don't get a chance to so who knows where we're going to end up!!

See ya!

And you mista! :)

Is there anyone/time in particular that's going to be particularly hippidity hoppidity?

Whitey C & Surreal are doing a live HipHop-ish PA at 5.30 (well, at least the MC will be live, the tunes will be on CD but they are Whitey's own work).

I think you can safely rule out any HipHop from Dub and Dj Bigga (but who knows?) and Steve townsend will be playing more of an oldskool soul/funk/eclectic set.

Gonna be a case of suck it and see I think, all the DJs will be reading the crowd.
