I had not heard of the book prior to watching this and happened to watch cos I had been watching Horizon before. I certainly will be reading the book soon. Overall I enjoyed the programme and can appreciate how difficult in the short space of time given to show Stuart and Alexanders friendship but to me at least this was decpicted by each allowing the other to be close to the others friends and family and be accepted by them.

I just need to decide when will be the right time to read this book as I am aware of the effect it may have upon me..

Found it moving, funny & disturbing in equal measure. Would quite like to read the book now.
