'Street Sounds Electro....#' series

I used to have electro 11 that I taped from a friend
on one of those cool clear aluminium tdk tapes with the little green bits - you know the ones - very cool at the time ;).
I recently found electro 1 from pirate bay I think -
good stuff!!

The Street Sounds Electro compilations have never had an official re-release.

I have all 29 volumes ripped at 320k, PM me if you want any and we can sort something out. I can offer either the mixes as one track, or as audio CD's that will play in a normal CD player...

I thought they got re-released a couple of years ago?

I got some of them when they first came out. I'm old :)

Khan was involved with the anniversary cd to mark another possible UK Fresh event a few years back, which didn't actually take place. Instead some people never received their tickets or money, which did nothing to build Khan's credibility amongst the UK 'Electro Funk' community.

BB:)

Morgan Khan was well dodgy all his professional career. He kept setting up labels then going bust then setting up new ones then going bust until no-one in the music business would do business with him any more. He was a likeable sort but, then, most con-men are....

khan actually posted here a few times (promoting an event of course) last year. he was swiftly tackled on that very subject and was never seen again... :D

I did those CD's myself, what do people think?

They are normal audio CD's, with track i.d's in, but recorded straight from vinyl, and not enhanced or cleaned up with any software.

I'd still buy the genuine one's from Street Sounds if they ever get a proper release.

I've got half a dozen of the electro vinyl albums in my loft. I didn't like them but I kept buying them because I thought they might get better....
