stop ronaldo!

Chorlton said:
being that there is no condemnation, and that you are england fans - i presume that you all love it.

so, are you going to answer the question?

why are england fans such tools?
Why do you find it necessary to be so provocative? You should know better than to play the "do you condemn?" card - haven't Celtic fans and sympathisers with Irish Republicanism had enough of that over the years?

It's not a pleasant or a civilised way to go about debate and it's not intended to be. You're old enough to know better.

Generalising about supporters of a team is not racist but might well be considered flamebait.

Kindly calm it down, everyone.

This has only just come to your attention? This forum has been a mess since the World Cup started.

Not really wanting to criticise your moderation, but isn't this a bit late in the day?

Accepted William, thank you.

Now, can you answer my original question, i think i have answered your as best i can
Like William was appologising you you :D wanker.

Why the fuck should he have to appologise? You wade into every England thread and accuse everyone of being thuggish wankers who condone violence and threatening behavior. You're just a trolling cock.

I do not condone the bad behavior of a minority of England supporters. I think they are cunts, just as much you do. So do most on here, yet you still try and get a bite out of them by slagging them off and lumping them all together. Why bother? You are nothing but a common garden troll.

This is, regrettably, true.

nothing regretable about it. It's about time people just ignoredthe twat and stopped rising to his bait. That's what trolls like, this makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside, the poor, sad deluded troll.

Ronaldo is ahead. Why? Maybe because he is credited with kicking England out of the World cup. Personally, I think Rooney deserves more credit for that. Why do so many people the World over rejoice in England's defeat? England/Britain the World over are hated as the number one ally in Bush's war of terror. Any blow to England/Blair is cause for rejoicing in bars and cafes and front rooms across the World.

If celtic fans are tools i'll be the first to round on them donna. I'm an idiot but i am not about to sit back and take responsibilty for 60,000 people, just as i would never take responsibilty for those that share the same ground beneath my feet - what kind of idiot would do that? sorry, am i being confrontational again?

as for irish republicans... i'll start on them now if you like?

I must admit i didn't mean to start the 'do you condemn'.. you may have a point - it came about as no, i do not believe most england fans condone the behavior, but those that do and those that do not condemn certainly make up the majority of england fans IMO

You can't??

No, that's a bit unfair. My post** was reported, Chorlton's provoctative posts appear not to have been, FM can only act on whats brought to his attention.

**In which I called Chorlton a racist and I apologise for that specifically -- going too far no doubt.

Everying else that I said, every single thing else, I stand by. And what xes and Donna said afterwards I also agree with.

"There is a very real danger that Cristiano Ronaldo will be voted the fans' best young player at the World Cup despite his pouting, winking, diving, three times stepping over pretty boy antics designed mainly to get himself a lucrative transfer to Real Madrid and thus avoid the good kicking he deserves from Wayne Rooney at Manchester United training".

Oh dear.

What an opening line to a thread. Reminds me of the NoTW sponsored Paedophile riots of a few years back.

Yes William, maybe it was a bit unfair. Am just a bit peeved by the constant provocation in the Sports forum lately. It's pointless, disruptive and as said, the forum has been a mess IMO.

Agree with that, I mean about Rooney, definitely.

Why do so many people the World over rejoice in England's defeat? England/Britain the World over are hated as the number one ally in Bush's war of terror. Any blow to England/Blair is cause for rejoicing in bars and cafes and front rooms across the World.

While that's all true as a part-explanation for peoples' reactions, a reaction like that is still a tad harsh on those many people supporting England who in no way Blairites and in no way have any support at all for war in Iraq etc.

I'm sorry about it too, and for any part I might have played in rising to the bait of the disruptors.

Well it was a crap start to a crap thread, but if the start was bad, it didn't half get worse later ... :o

Really am off now! Honest ...

which is a shame when there is gold-dust threads like this and 'lets make his life hell' propping up the forum.

there are good threads, there are good posters, there are good points - and then there are threads that aren't worth a flying frig.

could i be so bold as to put this thread of whinging shit into the latter category? or am i being confrontational again?

Anyway, that stuff about people rejoicing 'the world over' is bullshit. England have a massive fanbase in China, for instance, which itself holds around a quarter of the world's population.

I wouldn't say confrontational, but I would say you are one of the main reasons I haven't bothered to post in this forum since the World Cup started and are one of the main culprits for it being a shitfest.

And no, I won't get into debate with you on this, thats my final word on the matter and I'll go look at nobbing and sobbing or something.....

bump...I've noticed Chorlton that you've refused to reply to this...if you had any integrity then you'd address all the posts that are aimed at you and inspired by you incisive knowledge of English fans....or you're just being a low level scum troll.

Play fair now...you started it.

Chorlton is being a fanny.

As much as I hate England football team (well the hype we are sold), the simple fact is that condeming all fans because of the actions of a few wankers is ridiculous. Do you stand out side muslim house holds and demand they all condemn the tube bombings?

English fans were some of the best behaved at this world cup, yet because this doesn't serve some peoples idea of the English working class being racist reactionary scum you casually ignore it.

England fans have nothing to apologise for, rather the media, management and players should be apologising to them.

Most England supporters I know are well aware of their own limitations, the few who aren't are no different than the millions of other muppets who have no understanding of the game and swallow their "sides" bluster en masse, whether that be Man Utd fans, Celtic fans or Rangers fans.

The English fans who buy into we're world class shite deserve the performances England showed, those fans with a clue deserved much better.

29 threads that are non sticky on this page - on this i have contributed to 7, 1 is not about football and on 3 i have been what i would describe as confrontational, these threads are this one, the ABE thread and a thread entitled 'at least scotland never qualified'

I genuinely don't want to be a bore across all threads, but i think you are being a little harsh - the titles of those threads in which i contribute heavily are pretty clear from the title what to expect - if there is a general discussion about football i will try to add to it but if the thread is a lot of balls.... well...

now maybe you thought that "At Least Scotland Never Qualified" had potential and i ruined the whole thing, but i gotta be honest i don't think you did now did you?

Summary:
-----

The Owen Hargreaves appreciation thread. - My contribution: 1post: Agreed

Surely its time (for the Return Of the Home Internationals)

A.B.E. Celebration thread :p - My contribution: Loads - but really the title gives it away

At Least Scotland Never Qualified - My contribution: Loads - but really the title gives it away

David Walliams - Cross Channel Attempt

Finally, after 25 days of football, the world cup has started

stop ronaldo! (Multi-page thread 1 2 3)
