i was considering starting a thread about whether i should go and see them in a few weeks for 15 quid but as this thread exists, i didn't dare incur the wrath of the 'have you never heard of the search function' brigade.


well, should I pay the 15? I've always seen them as legendary, almost mythical in fact, coming as they do, from over the water.
Suspect device, alternative ulster etc etc.... and 'Johnny was' is an all time favourite of mine.

Last time I saw SLF was at the Forum Kentish town? in the early 90's.

they still tour almost every year and go to a good few venues, try google for results,
i saw them 2 years ago, dam good! but £16 to see them again? not sure, mayb wait a couple more years to see them again.

I used to enjoy SLF no end but a few years back, I was sitting outside a cafe opposite a place where they were setting-up for a gig that night & one of them came over to me & asked for directions to the very worst football-casual/far-right fuckwit hang-out bar in the city. Can't look at them in quite the same way again after that.
