Thanks for the warm welcome I've had from you lot
Yours In Sport , Andy
With a name like that, it was a given. Cheers for your support fella.
silkman or anyone
see it was 1-1 but could not find any more details ref to scorers attendance , anyone ?
All on 2nd leg
Shame for the hamlet would have been good to go to prenton park, not a bad ground been there a few times
Possible full house for 2nd leg
Argh just seen report now, conceded a 1st minute penalty i see but hit back in the second half
Double the hamlet home attendance , spose being a week end game helps
Bilbond , a joke of a penalty and probably a perfectly good goal ruled out as well . We were the better side and they hold no fear for us next weekend
Good to see your 5-0 win on Saturday keep up the good work !!!
Just seen the score
so wembley it is, seeing as Tranmere were a lge club just a few season ago was hoping the maccs went on to final
Like a underdog
So Macclesfield Town V York City final at Wembley
Hamlet supporters come to Wembley on May 21 and cheer for the silkmen. You're well lived in Cheshire.
*loved not lived
I'll be going to wembley supporting macc, parents from there
Agree with Cigar , you're following is well respected, be nice to see a bit of pink n blue at Wembley
I often go to the Trophy final anyway....don't always favour a certain side...but this year it's Macclesfield Town for me. Fair play on getting past Tranmere Rovers...to be honest I didn't think you would.
I may well go this year...echo Dulwich Mishi's thoughts...also nice to be knocked out by the winners
Best of luck against Kingstonian tonight
I'll be going to Wembley, supporting Macc obvs.
I hope Macc win, but I'm so underwhelmed by the whole "Wembley Experience" I'll never go again unless Hamlet are playing. Overpriced and Premier League levels of security and stewarding. I enjoy non-league because it's the opposite of all that.
I agree Wembley can be souless that's why we need Hamlet supporters there. Reclaim the game!
It's not special any more because too many matches are played there, most notably the FA Cup Semi Finals, and that's down to the greediness of the FA. Macc (or Lincoln or Tranmere had they won their Trophy semi) could be going there twice in a month.
Couldn't agree more. I only go there for Trophy/Vase finals...I dread to think how bloody awful it is, when it's packed with the SKY TV brigade of fans, for England games....
Agree , it looks a soulless place but haven't been to the new Wembley, 2 visits with Macc to the old one 1 win , 1loss , feeling quietly confident for this one though
Like Jamie Wyatt ?
I like going there for the odd England and Chelsea match but I would as the tickets are free and thankfully far away from the out of town dickheads who populate the England games and likewise Chelsea's opponents on the day. The journey back is a pig though.
I didn't say 'exclusively' but 'packed'. I am sure there are still plenty of decent 'old skool' fans who go...
Na. I meant like Jamie Wyatt.
4-2 another 3 points in the bag , keep it going lads
It isn't great for a number of reasons. The main one is that Brent Council don't really want fans to be around there. Absolutely nothing in the area.
However if your team get there you go. Start at London Bridge, tons of good pubs around, Jubilee Line there and straight back to London Bridge after (not Baker Street as way overrated). I'll come and join you for that pint (or three) Silkman72
Reckon I'll be coming down on the coach again but definitely meet you for that pint Andy mate
Are you missing me Michael?
