he wasn't great for either team. i think there was agreement on all sides that alonso was unlucky, it wasn't a red, but the card was given and the spaniard took an absolute age to leave the pitch, which wasn't right. some help from the linesman, sorry assistant ref wouldn't have gone amiss. there were a few niggles on fabregas as well, by alonso and garcia, and i got the feeling there was a little bit of competition boiling over for the compatriots. fighting for places?

To be fair our equaliser shouldn't have counted. I think it was Alonso clattered Fabregas and the ball fell to Gerrard who shot, etc. It should have been a free kick to Arsenal. I believe things equal themselves out and it would have been rude if we had taken a point from that game. Funny, but rude.
