I *heart* Stephen Fry. He can do no wrong in my eyes.

But, er-hum, Kingdom could have done with a better script. I havent seen this weeks yet, but it is typical ITV sunday night telly, at its worse. He, of course, is simply marvelous in it though.

The episode aired on Sunday the 06th of May was awful. Whilst I am not adverse to slow paced, quirky British humour on a Sunday night this was utter crap and made One Man & His Dog seem like edge of your seat stuff!

ikwym. No suspense, you can almost say the script along with them, the sisters character has no endearing qualities, they only seem to have one case a week, his character can go without sleep for a few days, silly assistant boy is a twank.

Oh, I could go on... And WHAT is with the accents? Especially the barman/landlord of the local pub.

*sighs and shakes head* What a pity. :(

Not crap. If he wasn't around they'd be wheeling out Gyles Brandreth far too often.
That programme he did about depression was really interesting.

He certainly isn't crap but probably needs a good kick up the arse in retribution for those bloody awful Twinings ads he's been doing.

I adore Stephen Fry, just adore him

his think about his bi-polar was great/fascinating viewing, jeeves and wooster was brill, blackadder and all the rest

kingdom I love, its perfect sunday viewing for me, no hassle, no thinking and the lovely stephen on my tele

Jeeves and Wooster was great. He was excellent in Oscar Wilde (whom I think he may have been in a past life btw) as well. A very brilliant man (even at school he could do the Times crossword in a quarter of an hour).

I also like the fact that he claims to keep an open mind about things and is always willing to be convinced by a good argument.

This whole thread is ludicrous! The question seems to me a bit ridiculous when it is very clear that stephen fry is one of these rare famous people who so obviously is not crap.

It sort of highlights for me whether people have taste or not....and maybe brain cells, lol...

It was about manic depression actually. :p

But yes, it was fascinating. He was so honest about his past.
