A pair of tits, just resting gently on the table in front of me. And a nice glass of red wine :)

Chips, grilled Toms and Mushrooms.

And I make up a sauce from mixing English Mustard and Ketchup.

It also can only be eaten on a Friday or Saturday night. Any other night is just feckless.

I prefer roasted potatoes and mushrooms

Very few people over here eat fries/chips with a steak. Usually its a baked "jacket" potatoe or mash

Mmmm. Steak.... medium rare, large, chips, mmm, battered onion rings, mushrooms, peas, maybe potato croquets, gravy, grilled tomatoes, bit of salad on the side. Fuck, I am starving.

steak, medium. with melted roquefort, some leaves, maybe an odd mushroom. I wouldn't like to lose valuable gut space to some potatoes.

Whats the point ordering a steak anything other than rare? It gets tough and loses its flavour.
Who orders veg with a steak. Its an indulgence with a certain purity. To have veg taints it.

the better quality cuts like NY strip, rib eye, porterhouse, filet mignon can all be done medium and not lose any tenderness or flavour :)

the top end steak houses here all recommend rare, medium-rare or medium...these are the places that charge $100 per person not including drinks :)

US beef uses growth hormones that the EU, out of public health concerns banned the use of and the import of beef that has them in.

You can keep your massively over priced medium cooked bio-hazard steak.

Filet Mignon with baked potato and sauteed mushrooms, and perhaps some bearnaise sauce, oh, and a lobster tail.

I like my medium rare with chips and salad.

The juices have to soak into the chips before eating and have peppercorn sauce on the side

Lol! At the lobster tail as an accompanying dish!

I like chip shop chips or skinny frites and some good roasted tomatoes. Yum! Steak for tea tomorrow night I think!

After a practical experiment on Saturday I conclude that mash is a perfect acompaniment to steak, especially if you make it quite heavy and it absorbs the bloody juices from the meat.

I recently discovered that French Mustard is fantastic with steak! Not the yellow French's American one; the real French dark brown mustard. Tescos do jars of it for 45p!

Mmmmmm, steak. Well done with chips, grilled mushrooms, tomatoes and peas please. Some garlic butter on the top maybe or a creamy peppercorn sauce if it's a cheaper steak.
