Saw a few mins of highlander as my Mum was watching it, hmm it hasnt aged that well. I enjoyed watching it when it was first available on video, I was just the right age to enjoy the best of dodgy 80's movies at the time. I quite like the basic premise behind highlander, but it was best watched the first time when I had no idea what was going on.

Just came home from a cosy gathering with my best friends to have an early night in my own bed for the first time in 4days. Saw Highlander was on and am now drinking and very much staying awake!

This film has winner written all over it

Highlander is as cool as Highlander II is shit.

I saw Highlander at Stirling Castle...with a Kurgan-like on a massive horse asking if 'YOU WERE THE ONE' and Kilted fire-jugglers on the ramparts and a sword/stunt fight in the courtyard...film in the chapel with everyone saying every word......that's Highlander.

Jesus! I last this film when i was a kid. It seemed awesome then. It actually is an atrociously made comedy tho. Incredible how much film has come on in the last 25 years. Was this taken seriously or was it actually a pisstake?

Ramirez has a broad Scots accent, McCleod sounds like hes from Joburg. Only Clegg sounds geographically correct (Southend). Awesome.

I quite like the basic premise behind highlander, but it was best watched the first time when I had no idea what was going on.

You might enjoy the TV series, which has the excellent Peter Wingfield as Methos. Adrian Paul's Scottish accent is even more painful that Mr Lambert's, mind.

The film's just one long music video by a music video director, but it's great late-night fantasy gubbins.

HJighlander 2 is a an extremely painful excuse for a film that will never be forgiven and can thankfully be ignored from thje rest of the canon. Highlander 3 at least brought it back onto the original story and incorporated what happened in the TV series.
