Staying positive whilst job hunting....

Does anyone else find covering letters hard too? I have trouble writing without cliches, I've gotten into the habit of lazily applying with a generic standard version, since it saves time. It is unlikely to stand out, but at least I'm not spending hours and hours on each individual application, which is what I was doing before.

I absolutely hate it - CV's, covering letters, interviews, they're all a nightmare. All you really want to do is shout at someone "...just give me the fucking job and I'll prove I can do it!"

I've come close to quitting my current job on numerous occasions, or at least given it serious thought, but the main reason I've not gone through with it is that I just can't stand the thought of having to jump through all the hoops required to get another one!
