I guess that's it for me, it just feels like too much of a waste. I've been known to get up earlier than I need to after a night's clubbing (esp if the weather is good) as I just feel like I'm wasting day still being asleep. Staying in just makes me feel so knackered.

mrs21 is the same, has to get out and about, i'd quite happily, sometimes, just veg about watching telly, going on t'internet, playing PS2 games, drinking tea and eating biscuits:cool:

sometimes its nice, but normally the kids get too much cabin fever so we at least go to the park or something

I do this so often it's no longer a luxury :o

I've just put my dressing gown in the wash basket this weekend after telling myself it really was okay to put real clothes on and give it a well deserved break :D

I hate getting dressed. I like to dress up in fancy pants gear but it's deciding what to wear and stuff when all I'm gonna do is move from the bed upstairs to the sofa downstairs and then back again.

I stay indoors so much that I've only got one bra. :D

I enjoy time by myself and I take things slowly anyway. I tend to get twitchy after about 4 days indoors but that's solved by a trip to the shops and maybe a pint. Thing is that I don't know if I'm a natural hermit or if it's M.E.

I've only got two and I work full time - 1 in the wash, 1 on :D

I absolutely LOVE stoppin in all day, when I feel like it, which is most of the time in winter.

I lie in bed at 8am of a weekend (see: most of xmas hols too), loving the deliciousness of the warm bed, and planning to do stuff, then fucking it all off in favour of a cup of tea, and a good 4 or 5 hours reading - fuckin BLISS. I've spent a lifetime being woken up or made to get out of bed by other people for their own selfish purposes, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the decadence of lyin in bed til I fancy. i don't think I'll ever stop loving being single :D

But, on other days (usually spring), I'm up out of bed at dawn and gagging for a good long yomp

My bloke got me a DS lite for christmas which I love and he told me yesterday how part of why he got it was because I could just play it in bed and he thought it would be perfect for when my wrists are too painful to hold books and my brain can't keep up with a story. :o

Apologies for the awol punctuation. It's run off with my brain.

What's a DS lite? Scuse my ignorance - is it some kind of video game?

Aw, bless your lovely boy :)

especially on sundays - monday dread just makes me want to hide indoors.

Ain't it just. I cried yesterday at the thought of having to come back to work.

Spent an entire 3 days from Christmas day on without leaving the house. Did plenty and nothing in semi-equal proportions. I'm so tired after an intensive period of stress at work through Nov & Dec that I needed the wind down.

I do feel a bit crap if I stay in but that tends to be my head telling me 'you should be DOING something'. You know what, sometimes we need to take a fucking break and do little. Especially if most of your week you're under pressure to DO something almost every minute of the day.

Couldn't agree more :)

1 - more - day - of - freedom

I'm already doing the 'I can't do THIS for the rest of me life' mini-revolution

I don't WANT to be the boss, i don't WANT to have to tell people what to do all day every day, or try and make them feel better about the fuckin shit job they're doin, or try and manage them.

huh

You can get a DS game to help train your brain you know :D I've played it a couple of times, one day I was about 30ish, the next time after a shite day I was 60 ish!! Oops! :D

Soj, the DS is the next one up from the Gameboy Advance(iirc), tis a hand held console, with a touch screen. Son has one(and it's backwards compatible)

It's a portable games console. Seems to be a nice route in for the non gamer. There's some quite silly and unsophisticated games on it and I've wrecked my mobile playing solitaire. :D

Edit: Beaten to it. :) I've looked at braintraining because people keep suggesting it to me. Dunno. Seems to be so successful that I'll wait til the next version I reckon.
