Stardust

If this is the film I am thinking of, part of it was filmed on Skye.

And they kept some of their horses at the Riding Centre I worked at. :)

the grey stallion was an absolute darling, gentle as a lamb and a swift and balanced as a cheetah.

Curiously, I was an extra in the other Stardust  My God, that was a long time ago.:(

indeeedie:)

oh I just remembered a lovely French draft mare - her back was about 6 feet wide and she was absolutely bombproof - literally. They all came from a specialist stunt horse company.:)

I got this film on a *cough* copy (the mVs, rather than the delay one which is much shitter) and the gf and I thought it was great. Definitely one to get on the old doovde when it comes out.

There must be a call for dead horses in films.....

Think of the money you'd save on upkeep...The Dead Horse Stunt Company

(((PieEye)))

can supply one obese, greedy and lazy Highland

plus one obese, greedy and lazy ClydieX.

Not very promising.

Bunuel already did the dead horse bit I think.

he looks like a bash street kid - face made out of left-overs, but it's the name that really gets to me - "Dexter"......

That was really annoying to type....

Me and you and secretsquirrel and my kids too Madz. Fabulous.

Never going to win any awards for originality, but still fucking ace fairytale.

Saw it on Wednesday - it's a big slice of class

The choir of dead princes was great; Rhind-Tutt, Walliams, Buxton, Heap...:D

its one of those films you'd take a girl to see if you fancied the arse off her but didn't wnat to tell her

I saw this last night - pretty good stuff  It got the balance of actual story, magical wonderlands and comic relief about right for a kids film I think, and the sets and effects were pretty cool too. The ending is incredibly cheesy and made me cringe a bit but that's what you expect in a film like this.

It made me fancy claire danes a bit too :)

It's very predictable and very hollywood. Entertaining nonetheless though and worth watching the once
