I think we'll perform against Chelsea. We need something to kick start our season and I think a result there would be perfect. Problem is, we so often perform well against the big sides but come out with nothing, and if that happens we could be destined for a start as slow as last years.

I walked in to pub last week and there was a bloke sat at the bar with a lovely little dog. Spurs were on the box and when they conceeded a goal the dog went mental! The final whistle went and the dog went beserk so I asked the owner "what is wrong with it ?" He said the little fucker does it every time they lose. I said wot happens if they win and he said "fuck knows I've only had him 6 months!!"

That was merely referring to the fact that, when we originally came up, nobody could have predicted that we'd have got to the FA Cup final or qualified for Europe.
