You're very close indeed - Hatem Ben Arfa, apart from the Jewish, winger and Israeli parts.

Fwiw, far as I know he's now considered a conventional forward.




Two great issues for this season that we didn't have last:

1) How to adapt in the post-playmaker/heartbeat/quarterback era, and
2) How to deal with the distraction of Europe without finishing 14th in the Prem and not qualifying for it again this season, a la Boro (and just about every other team as well).

We are going to struggle big stylie this year, imo.

I'd read in the paper that he was a winger, and there's nothing on that link to say he isn't Jewish, although upon googling his name it appears he's actually Muslim. Doesn't really matter as long as he's good.

Martin Jol likes the big man/little man combo up front, so I can't see Mido being a replacement for Defoe - more of a back-up to Berbatov.

We now have very good striking options IMO

Rumours on COYS messageboard are saying we are going for Zenden and Malbranque next
