Twitchers tend to be box tickers iykwim, only interested in new things.

Zoooo, I think Bill suffers from depression and obviously this can affect how he comes across, but he is genuinely enthusiastic about wildlife and his talks are absolutely brilliant. He was also a lovely bloke when I met him, maybe a good day?

Yikes, didn't know that.
I'm sure his mates like him! I don't think he's an ogre or anything.
But I've seen him in several interviews just being sooooo unforgiveably rude. And I've heard a lot about him being very difficult to work with.
But yeah, I don't know him personally, he might be really nice to some people.
