Sport is crap.

PE at school
Cross country
Getting up in the fucking AM to fucking jog..... WHAT THE HELL?
Communial showers
Athletes foot
Stitches
Sweatshop peddling bastards
Lycra
People who like you to know, that they visit the gym (tossers)

and the general..... 'sport' thing is just shite. Watching the RAF Rally, Paris to Dakar Tally and the odd England and Toon match is class... but sport is shit on the whole, yes?

Edit: This was meant to be a poll....... :(

MODS?? Poll pls if you don't mind :)

Sport:

Sport not crap so long as you actually want to take part. Theres far more to sport than the boring old school competitive crap that PE teachers used to peddle. Give people more choice earlier and they might just carry on doing something they enjoy into adukthood.
I was shite at PE becuase it did nothing I enjoyed or was good at in a highly competitive traditional environment. Im now a trampoline coach ( my school didnt consider represnting them at that sport even worthy of a mention)

I used to play paintball semi pro :D Couldn't do that at school.

Sport is also shit far shitter if you're skinny oik (like myself) or a fatty.

or short :D
Kids these days in some schools seem to be getting mnore opportunites though. Kids I teach are doing lifesaving, rock climbing, trampolining etc as part of GCSE PE now becuase they can include sports which arent offered by school as long as mum and dad are willing to get involved ( the school takes them rock climbing and teaches lifesaving ) If I hadnt been restricted to netball hockey, swimming gym and tennis I might have been inclined to do PE

I quite liked playing squash at school because it was a superb form of anger management therapy.

Otherwise it is somewhat bollocks.

My school actually had three - it was its pride and joy, along with a horrifically colour-schemed selection of office-style furniture in the sixth-form common room.

Yuppie-grooming in full action.
