Spirits - Which is the king?

Vodka must be king for its versatility.

Purely on taste, whisky.

In a blind testing, what do you reckon your chances would be of correctly identifying them? Do they really taste that different?

Might get the Stoly and the Standard mixed up if I were already drinking - but I could work out the Grey Goose from everything else and the Black Smirnoff because of the charcoal filtering, with no problems.

Rum is well lush.

Gin tastes like hairspray and whisky tastes like gin with added horse piss.

If you're talking vodka - then it has to be Grey Goose.

After that, Russian Standard, then Stolychnaya (sp?) and then black Smirnoff.

In order of quality.

Absolut is absolute shite.

North Cape FTW.

But along with the Goose @ £30 a litre, it rarely touches my lips.

Viceroys, six quid a litre is what normally wins
