Spice Racks are rubbish

I know. It probably shouldn't be there, but a sugar-loving friend has started calling, and the sugar bowl seems to have found its way there.

Shall I talk you through the spices and tins at the back, plus carton of Green & Blacks cocoa powder?

If you have time that would be lovely. Don't want to put you out.

Will post a blow by blow account of the new spice rack arriving, being installed, the spice/herb inventory and the reorganisation of the cupboard. The latter will be partly to accommodate the spice rack and then the utilisation of the space that has been made available.

Next time I'm in IKEA, I will buy another one of the racks, and fight hard against myself not to buy any more jars...
This kitchen stuff is like heroin isn't it :( I got two storage boxes/trays from Wilko a whole back. Now I have five of them full of (orderly tbf) stuff and want more.

When the spice rack arrives I will have some empty box things the spices are in and no doubt will fill them.

Hate racks, have a drawer:

That isn't a drawer. That's a mess and I feel a bit ill just looking at it. This is a drawer.

I just have bags and pots and (in some cases) plastic tubs of herbs and spices all over the kitchen counter. If I manage to keep them all in a relatively small area then I am winning.

This website has some unexpected effects on a person. :hmm: I am eagerly awaiting these now, look how clever, self adhesive strips that go on the inside of the cabinet door and all your spices and things just clip in there. Will it actually stick and will they fit in the clips? watch this very exciting space to find out.

Thoroughly clean the surface of the door before attaching the adhesive strips. Alcohol works well. It makes you give less of a shit if they fall off.
