Spice Racks are rubbish

I love a whisk have six now and they all get regular use.

I've got three or four, and they rarely get used. My favourite is the one with a little wire ball imprisoned in the main whisk bit, and a ball bearing imprisoned with the imprisoned ball. Very efficient at whisking stuff.

I know. It probably shouldn't be there, but a sugar-loving friend has started calling, and the sugar bowl seems to have found its way there.

Will post a blow by blow account of the new spice rack arriving, being installed, the spice/herb inventory and the reorganisation of the cupboard. The latter will be partly to accommodate the spice rack and then the utilisation of the space that has been made available.

Oh, I know. There's a couple of unlabelled ones too (dried seaweed, grated 95% chocolate) - but it feels like a terrible waste to put a whole sheet of paper through the printer just for one or two labels!

This kitchen stuff is like heroin isn't it I got two storage boxes/trays from Wilko a whole back. Now I have five of them full of (orderly tbf) stuff and want more.

When the spice rack arrives I will have some empty box things the spices are in and no doubt will fill them.

I just have bags and pots and (in some cases) plastic tubs of herbs and spices all over the kitchen counter. If I manage to keep them all in a relatively small area then I am winning.

How do you know what's in the upright pots without taking them out? At least with mine you can just have a quick rummage and roll them over to see the labels.

Not randomly chucking things in to roll about everywhere means you don't have to rummage because everything stays in the right place.

Thoroughly clean the surface of the door before attaching the adhesive strips. Alcohol works well. It makes you give less of a shit if they fall off.
