Not that big a fan of spice racks, mine are in plastic tray things on a cupboard shelf but I am really tight for room. Plus I had to buy something for £9 to get the total order cost over £20 for free delivery. Will review and report back in due course.

Oooh niceI have this very one. The great thing is you can add extra tiers.

I pine for something like that. I do pretty much all the cooking in our house so nobody feels my pain. This is my spice cupboard. My m-i-l, who is my hero and has done all the cooking in her house for like 65 years, organised me by labelling the lids and separating green/orange a few years ago.I have this very one. Mine was purchased when a new lodger moved in and we ran out of cupboard space. It's on the side of the built-in oven - can you not find a spot for these? They came as individual shelves and you could choose how many you had. They could go horizontally too if you had the space.I pine for something like that. It's an arseache when you're making curry or something new though

Is this the most first world of all the problems?![]()
Bunch of those IKEA racks, unscrew the mounting slots from the back, and use the holes to screw those metal repair strips in instead. And leave the front bars off, or you'll never get the jars in or out!Love it![]()
I like your oven mittI get a pathetic amount of satisfaction from organising things. Not sure how I managed to have such a mess of spice storage but I definitely know my ( still furloughed) project for next week. View attachment 221739View attachment 221740

I love a whiskThat whisk never gets used, btw; don't be fooled by its prominence![]()
have six now and they all get regular use.Oh, it's literally just a smaller chopping boardWhat is that bread slice board thing?
I tend to use it in an attempt to not cross-contaminate, so I'll cut chicken on it, dump it in the sink and then use the bigger board for the rest of the recipe.

Yeah, my cooking style is such that a whisk is 'fancy'I love a whiskhave six now and they all get regular use.

Should I start the 'Chopping Board' thread then?Oh, it's literally just a smaller chopping boardI tend to use it in an attempt to not cross-contaminate, so I'll cut chicken on it, dump it in the sink and then use the bigger board for the rest of the recipe.
Would kind of like a better smaller board tbh, but it seems oddly indulgent to buy a new one when I have which does basically work...![]()

Gotta keep the #content coming and feeding those #analytics.Should I start the 'Chopping Board' thread then?
Ah, that's more like what my spice cupboard (from which I replenish my spice rack), only without the fancy-schmancy turntable effort, looks like

Iiiinteresting. The turntable is a pain in the neck. Waste of a corner. However, the stuff is kept in the dark, and folded packets mean they are not exposed to extra air.
