I'm a year behind most, but have been offered a SB600 as a delayed christmas present. As I've got a couple of good friends getting married in 2010 as well as other with boys/girls/puppies on the way, I was also wondering about diffusers, have people found that the difference in price gives a corresponding difference in quality, or are they all much of a sameness?

Or should I just do a snadge?

for a diffuser use a translucent piece of plastic milk bottle.

I rarely use my diffuser. I mostly bounce the flash into the room behind me.

Me I like to bounce flash off the ceiling or off a suitable wall..

I have a Sunpak flash on a Fuji dslr so they are not as compatible as I would like.
