I am still digging into this, but you might be interested to know that it was a tie in with the 4 Computer Buffs programme, presented by Tony Bastable and produced by Thames Television.

Pennine Radio, Viking, and Radio West also experimented with this sort of thing during their closedown periods in the 1980s
