I felt sad for the cockatoo. They are probably the most demanding birds to keep as pets, as they can be so clingy and are prone to developing psychological problems because a human can never properly replicate the close bond they would have with their mate, something which they are as a genus even more sensitive to than true parrots. I'd never have a cockatoo because I wouldn't be able to live with it physically attached to me 24/7 for 40 or 50 years, which is what they need, in the wild they only ever go out of sight of each other when they are nesting and only for short periods.
As for the other animals, the pervert parrot was quite funny and most of his behaviour wasn't so far away from what most parrot fanciers experience just a bit more extreme, the bereaved parrot was a very sad story but I am sure will get over his loss, the dogs with their stabiliser wheels and prosthetics looked genuinely happy and there's no argument IMO that they were given a new lease of life, but the rabbit was just disturbing - I can't tell whether a rabbit looks happy or not, I am not sure that it is the right thing to keep it alive at all costs.
