Sparkling Water!!

Get a soda stream- much cheaper!!

We have one too! It's not just cheaper, but much easier. Actually, it's not cheaper compared to the supermarket, but it's an arse carrying bottles of sparling water home from there. The local shops charge a bomb for sparkling water.

Still water I still (heh) find slightly disgusting, no matter where in the country I drink it.

I like sparkling water, specially in the summer mixed with juice or squash.......

drink a lot of tap water too so it's not an either/or fro me !

:)

Sparkling water is brilliant. I normally drink about 3 bottles of Pellegrino a day.

For me it was an acquired taste, though. I used to hate it.

I don't drink tap water.. well, not until I've boiled it, and added coffee, milk and sugar.

I'm happy to drink any old fizzy water, mixed 2/3 with a nice orange juice.

BUMP

Started a new job recently and they have sparkling water on tap  my love of sparkling water has not diminished in the last 11 years. I'm back to drinking about 2 liters of the stuff daily.

When I move into my forever home, imma have one of those smart taps installed which does fizzy water on demand.

I love sparkling water too. Loads better than normal water, people who prefer normal water are knobs. If I ever buy a bottle in a shop the person serving usually asks if I know it's sparkling. Yes I fucking do.

I love it too and have done for donkies but have deliberately and dramatically reduced my habit in the last year or two as i was getting embarrassed / concerned about the amount of plastic bottles i was getting through.

Yeah I don't buy it so much any more, was thinking of getting a soda stream when they are on sale though so I can make it myself

I bought a 700ml bottle from poundland and have been reusing it at work. I'm also conscious about buying bottled water too much at home. The dream is to get one of those Quooker Taps that means no plastic bottles at all.

I drink sparkly water in the pub the few times when I give booze a rest.
Get through loads as in this setting it feels good.
Never been so well hydrated.

If I’m in a pub and want water I’ll ask for sparkling because it’s less easy to refill the bottles.

For me chilled with a slice of lime. Decent sized chunk with a bit of a squeeze.

I have one of these:

Basically a soda siphon. Bit more compact/attractive than a soda stream. I forget where I got it from, they're not that easy to find.

Those taps look great, but perhaps a tad on the expensive side...

I found a full box of those soda syphon silver cannister thingies, on the street! I'd try huffin 'em but I'm not 14 and I don't know how.

Not the same thing, it's CO2 to carbonate water and N2O is the naughty stuff.

I want to add buying still water is madness, not sure about sparkling

I will buy it if I'm out and there's no other way of getting it but otherwise I agree. Not just the paying for water bit, but the plastic waste. I used to just refill plastic bottles and take them out with me but kept getting told "it's bad for you!". Besides, fridge-cold water (like milk) does taste loads better from a glass bottle so I have a few glass bottles on rotation now. They just so happen to be Grolsch bottles with the labels removed as they're just the right size and the resealable top is handy. I've had some explaining to do at work a couple of times.

I do love sparkling though, didn't know Soda Stream was still a thing. Might ask for one for Christmas.
