Heard a track 'Ahi Estas Tu' covering an advert when visiting my mum in Spain earlier this year and fell in love with it. She sent me their album 'endorfinas en la mente' and I wasn't disappointed

for flamenco - anything by Ketama, modern flamenco stuff. Radio Tarifa - spanish/north african mix.

cuban gutarist - silvio rodreguez or mercedes sosa (from uraguay originally i think...). Beautiful lyrics - you have to be careful what you pick up though from both of these - some beautiful lps - some fillers.

Ojos de Brujo are Spanish, and Los de Abajo perform in Spanish but are Mexican. Both are favourites in Moose Mansions.

i have seen Ojos de Brujo twice live, the last time a couple of weeks back in the barbican and then for a free concert in Brick Lane...they are the dog's B******* and the sound system and Dj's rock.


Radio Tarifa are another amazing group.

Bebo and Cigala rock also.
