Space Cadets

What I'm mystified by is how they've gone about convincing them they're in Kazakstan and not the UK...

Same here... Are they going to blinfold them and hire and aeroplane and fly it around in circles for about 4 hours?

I can't possibly imagine how they'd get away with it!

This is a mean spirited and cruel idea from the off. These people must genuinely not know what they are getting in for and we will basically be asked to laugh at how stupid/naive they must be.

I will try to reserve judgement until I have seen it but I am really hoping it falls on it's ass in the same way that fucking stupid 'reality TV sitcom did, where basically all the 'non actors' taking part quickly smelt a rat and has to be told it was a hoax.

Not only is this really cruel to the contestants, it also take the piss out of space. Space ffs! It's the most amazing mega-cool thing ever, and now it's the subject of a piss-take reality show with Johnny Vaughn :(

i missed that what was it all about?

You know, I'm not sure whether the deception itself or being locked up with Vaughn for time is the worst thing about this show...I mean can you imagine weeks of his non-stop cock-er-nee patter without being able to hit the mute button?

Not being patronising here, but the show's content is pretty much explained in the words

Pretty much sum it up...

I think it was a couple of years ago now but script writers living 'downstairs' would write a story as it goes for actors integrating with people who thought they were taking part in a reality TV show. The regular punters guessed the actors by their strange behaviour and there was some quite cringeworthy TV as a result.

Oh good post. I've just rewritten what I already wrote again in a different way. duh.
