Yeah, head for the transmission towers for uphill. Also see pm.
What fucking now! I'm trying to see train times from Brixton to Penge East for today, and National Rail website keeps coming up with the date for tomorrow. Won't seem to accept today's date.
Went on the trainline as well and earliest train it's listing is tomorrow morning
It's almost as though SkyNet is trying to ensure you stay in a fixed location
Could use Southern, but have to change at Crystal Palace so takes 38 minutes instead of 13. Getting taxi again
TFL website seems to be showing a Southeastern Bus, so don't know why National Rail website doesn't just pop up a notice saying saying "Ha Ha, Minnie, there's no fucking trains today"
engineering work today
from SE Trains website (Brixton is SE not Southern, by the way)
Alternatively would be bus to Denmark Hill then rail replacement service from there. (although there's nothing about rail tickets being accepted on local bus to Denmark Hill)
Rail replacement bus running from Herne Hill to Penge east. 19 mins.
I know it's Southeastern but I didn't really want to have to start a new thread for them. Going to Denmark Hill from Brixton Hill just seems like going back to go forwsrd
Yes' but have to faff around getting to Herne Hill. All too much of a pain in the arse when you're in a rush
Scumbags putting anti union propaganda into their digital displays:
Apparently its all the Unions fault, case closed.
Southern tried to run too many trains on poor infrastructure: report
Just tweeted them.
Went to buy my ticket today and the ticket office was shut. Spoke to my mate who works there and he was in the early shift and the late shift person is on holiday, and they just haven't got cover so the office is shut.
Its not all bad!
I put a delay repay claim in because a train was cancelled. I got an email telling me my claim was declined:
I know - because the train was cancelled - that's why I'm claiming!!
