Not bad at all, Mr. R. Oscillating madly between wild optimism for the WC and deep depression when Jenkins-based reality reasserts itself.

Your good self? :)

Very good. Saw game this morning and not really impressed.

Last night I watched a "fly on the wall" dvd about Irelands 6 nations campaign. It was very interesting to see how different Irelands tactics were for the Welsh than the other teams. In the team tactics meetings it was all about how the ball was going to be in play a lot more than against any other team.

This worried the Irish given they would need to adjust to International pace in the first game and they saw it as a real 50:50 one.

Afterwards the players were FUCKED. Almost everybody had an ice pack on something. D'arcy had to lie down for 20 mins before his shower. Different game now to when I used to play it and I'm only 34!

The Springboks v All Blacks later tonight. One to watch because the All Blacks are missing their top five picks for lock while the Springboks were knocked around a bit from last week's game v the Wallabies.

I'll probably not follow it as it's not scheduled for free-to-air tv.

Sa 21 - 26 Nz

A good game, scrappy at times, wasn't impressed by Kelleher's hands but the Springbok scrum half was class. SA tired slightly and let the ABs run at them a couple of times in the last 15 and that was that. This one's going to go all the way to the WC finals this year I reckon. The sides are well matched.

Hmm.. how about Steyn's hands? :D He can allegedly kick a drop goal, which was presumably why he was bought on - but surely he should learn to catch the ball too?

The pub i was in was largely full of neutrals - but the roar when rokocoko went in to down the saffa cunts was enormous. The filthiest, cuntliest side (and country) on the planet without a doubt were ultimately downed by a black man. Perfect.

Truly dreaful, the worst hands on the pitch (second worst was Kelleher).

Nah, the All Blacks are dirtier right now. They're just more blatant about it. I'd rather the French or Irish knock the ABs out of the World Cup, but I'd settle for the Saffas.

How good was McCaw too btw.... he was just everywhere... best player in the world right now i reckon?
Damn right, especially when up against Burger, hardly an average flanker. Absolutely awesome.

Wallabies v Springboks in about twenty minutes.

Let's hope the Wallabies bring the same form into this match as last week.

Some regard the Springbok side as second string, with the South Africans saving their best for the World Cup, but I reckon they will be competitive.

Hoping to avenge our 22-19 loss in South Africa (with the two late drop goal three-pointers) last month.

Wallabies v All Blacks in about four hours. This is the final game in the Tri-Nations series with the winner taking home the Cup. It's also the final of the Bledsloe Cup, the annual series between Australia and New Zealand.

Should be a cracker with some form to be shown pointing to the World Cup.

Go you Wallabies!
