today i had a sour boiled sweet that actually made me cry. 20 seconds of actual pure hell. i need more.

When I think about boiled sweets, I can actually taste them in my mouth. Weird.

all the commercial ones mentioned on this thread pale in comparison to the ones i had yesterday. i'm really not exaggerating when i say that i had a tear coming down my face after 10 seconds of putting it in my mouth.

I actually had to kick a minor addiction to Haribo Tangfastics a few months ago! I'd go to the shop to buy a pack, come home with two and polish them both off!

The sourest sweets I ever tried were as a kid, I moved to a place in Germany and the first things the local kids did was take me to a shop to buy sour dummies. They must of had near pure citric acid on them as they gave me ulcers. Everything else pales into insignificance.

Sour sweets are good, but what about salty sweets? In Norway they have something like haribo only shaped as fish and salty.

Not good.

They are the fucking mutts nuts of the sour sweet world. We have competitions at work to see who can put the most in their mouth at once without crying

(5 at once is the record IIRC)
