Soup. In Summer. ...?

if they only have summer soups in summer and winter soups in winter won't thet be even more boring than having the whole variety of soups available all year round?
You haven't got a clue what you're on about, did you even read the whole of my post? As well as everything else, I mentioned introducing foreign soups - how would that make it more boring?

As for selling the whole variety all year round, well instead of doing that, why not introduce a wider seasonal variety of soups during the summer, rather than doing what they're doing now, which is selling a boring, narrow variety of soups?

And by using only seasonal vegetables, less damage would be caused to the environment...

Hungarainas always makes soup in the summer. Must be an eastern eupropean thing cos alot of Poles do it to... soup this... soup that.

Soup is good in the summer, it rehydrates you and there are no carbs in it which means your loosing the winter chocolate-fest. Full of nutrients too.

My mum makes excellent soup.

My grandma used to make a cold morello cherry soup - it was delisious. hit the spot on a day where it was 35 degrees. lovely!

I'm much more generous with the cream than Heinz or Baxters are.

yeah i did, for a change ;) and this is a thread about soups, no need to get so upset, sunshine...

some people might like to have a thick beef broth in the middle of summer, just as someone else might like to have a light thai noodle soup in the middle of winter. and even if you did introduce foreign soups (which you can get in supermarkets already, but not as wide a range as i expect you mean) you would still be limiting people's choice by selling products according to season. irregardless of the rights and wrongs, people don't want those limitations. and anyway, britain's seasons - as we all know - are prone to wide variations in weather.
